Can I get a final Whoop! Whoop! In the comments.
This is about a question I got from a Youtube comment on this mailchimp video. So, I decided to write a simplified post for it and help you along the way as well.
Introducing Merge Tags
Merge Tags in MailChimp are content placeholders . They look like this -*|REWARDS|* , *|ARCHIVE|* , *| EMAIL|* , *|FNAME|* , *| LNAME|* etc .
If you put the merge tags in your template or email , MailChimp will parse through and replace them with the texts they represent. Note that the last two examples *|FNAME|* , *| LNAME|*) are not permanently inbuilt in MailChimp. You can customize or change their names as shown in the above video.
If You want to say Hello Mary , whereby Mary is the first Name of your subscriber. And the merge tag representing your first Name field is *|FNAME|* . You will put it ,as shown below in your MailChimp Template:
Hello *|FNAME|* ,
I would love to welcome you to my new blog. Where I will be telling you more about food and culture.
So *|FNAME|* , feel free to send me a message asking me about food, cuisines and culture.
My address is :
*| LIST:ADDRESS |*
And Call me on:
An image to show an example.
NOTE : Merge Tags only work if you send a campaign. So send a real test campaign to yourself first. You damn sure don’t want to send campaigns and your subscriber sees things like hello *|FNAME|*

This video will explain step by step, how to make your Instagram posts, share to your Facebook page.
By default Instagram posts will share to your personal Facebook timeline. And to do that the process is as straightforward as:
Log into your Instagram,
then, go to your profile (where all your posts are, your username and description is)
then, tap on the settings /options button on your Instagram profile (on my android phone, they are three dots stacked up on top of each other)
then, scroll down to where it says Linked Accounts
then tap on it to connect your social media profiles
then, tap on Facebook to connect it,
And that’s all that is involved when setting up sharing Instagram posts to Facebook timeline.
Share Instagram posts to Facebook page
To connect your Instagram to your Facebook page, so that whenever you choose to share your Instagram posts to Facebook, it shares on your Facebook page and not your
personal timeline, one more step is needed:
After connecting your Facebook account as directed in the steps above and the Facebook link has turned from black to blue,
then, Click on Facebook again,
Let it load and then click OK, on the page that shows up,
After doing this, all our Facebook pages will be listed.
And you can choose a page that Instagram will share the posts to,
Then just tap back button (simply put, go back after choosing the page)
From now on Instagram will share your posts to your Facebook page and not your timeline
This video post showed you how to share Instagram posts to a Facebook page . After following all the steps as indicated, you should be able to share your Instagram posts to your Facebook page.
